Background: This casefile represents the original location of the Springfield-Des Arc bridge. The bridge was taken down and moved to Beaver Fork Lake recently. It's hard to say if the alleged hauntings are attached to the site, or the bridge itself. The Springfield Des-Arc bridge is the oldest bridge in Arkansas; it was erected in 1874 across the North Cadron Creek three miles east of Springfield.
Claims: Witnesses have reported hearing a ghostly baby crying, a girl screaming, and other eerie noises.

Our take: I don't think it's too likely that we would be able to investigate the original site, or if we'd find anything there. I suspect if any hauntings persist, they are probably tied to the bridge itself.
